WHAT WE DO
The P&C provides support to our school, our students, and our school community through a range of services and programs to enhance our students overall school experience.
We also help build a strong sense of school community by engaging our parent community in a range of programs and initiatives.
Our profits are reinvested back to the school community to ensure we continue to provide quality services to meet demand.
Our Services
We provide a range of services that support Manly West students including:

Band program (Years 3-6 only).

We also have special interest groups that focus on:

Sun Smart compliance and awareness.
In addition, we also have a dedicated Class Parent Coordinator to help keep everyone informed of current news and activities.
Major achievements

Adopting of the Swap for Good program in the canteen (2021)

Initiating Waste-free Wednesday’s (2021)

Hosting family and parent talks such as Interrelate, cyber safety and Child Wellbeing (ongoing)

Hosting fun and exciting events and fundraising programs (ongoing)

Improving Kiss and Drop Zone and School Safety Awareness (2020)

Initiating Labelling Day (2020)

Partnering with the school on schools rewards programs such as Coles, Woolworths and The Athlete's Foot (ongoing)

Expanding of the Before and After School Care Centre (2019 and 2014)

Funding Air-conditioning units in classrooms (2019 and 2018)

Our members
Our members are all volunteers. We meet once each school term to discuss a wide range of issues.
All our members have full voting rights and help make the decisions about our services and programs.
