P&C Annual General Meeting – Postponed – FAQs

The P&C Executive Team met on Tuesday, 17th March and we have decided to postpone the Annual General Meeting (AGM) due to the current restrictions being imposed by the government. 


Here’s what we will be doing until the AGM can be held.


Will the P&C services be affected by postponing the AGM?

No. All P&C services and programs will continue.


When will the meeting be held?

The new date for the meeting will be determined by the restrictions on meetings imposed by the Government. However, we are hoping to hold our AGM in Term 2.


What does this mean for the 2019 P&C Committees?

All those in current positions will remain in those positions until the AGM can be held. Any new sub-committee members can join the committee but are unable to be officially elected until the next meeting.


Nominating for a position on the 2020 P&C Committees

Please consider nominating for a position on one of our committees. If you would like to join one of the sub-committees, please let me know and I will put you in contact with the relevant sub-committee coordinator.

Important to note:

  • No experience is necessary! 

  • All current positions will be declared vacant at the AGM

  • All nomination forms will be presented at the meeting

  • All nominations will be voted by financial members attending the meeting

  • You do not have to be present at the meeting to be nominated, however you must be present at the meeting to vote.

Sub-committees are special interest groups and undertake specific planning and/or management tasks on behalf of the association. Each sub-committee comprises of a coordinator/convenor and team members.

  • Band

  • Before and After School Care

  • Canteen

  • Enrichment

  • Environment / Kitchen Garden

  • Events and Fundraising

  • Finance

  • Traffic

  • Uniform


P&C representatives

  • Sun Safety Rep

  • Class Parent Coordinator
